On 18/9/2020, TruScreen Vietnam and the board of directors of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital organized a seminar on “TruScreen Optical – Electrical Technology applied in screening for precancerous and cervical cancer signs ” at the hospital.
At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Specialist level 2. Vo Thanh Loi – Director of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital said the purpose of the workshop: to promote the spirit of quickly updating and absorbing new technologies, and creating opportunities for doctors of the hospital to approach and learn about TruScreen Optical – Electrical techniques.
At this seminar, TruScreen Optical – Electrical technology was first introduced to doctors of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. This is a non-invasive cervical cancer screening technology, which was researched and developed by TruScreen (Australia). The TruScreen Ultra device uses Optical and Electrical technology to examine and detect abnormal cells in the epithelial layers of the cervical surface, as well as deep into the basal and stromal layers.
In addition, doctors of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital directly observed how to operate TruScreen Ultra device, they were guided by TruScreen Vietnam technicians. Within the TruScreen Optical – Electrical technology introduction program at the hospital, doctors also practiced using TruScreen Ultra device to screen cervical cancer for patients who come to the examination with the guidance of TruScreen training doctors.
