GHS Company joins the journey of “Hanh trinh gieo yeu thuong” program in Hue

On January 1st, 2023, GHS Company sponsored TruScreen medical equipment to support free cervical cancer screening for women in border areas in Hong Thai commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue.

Hong Thai is a commune on the border with Laos, where has harsh natural conditions. This area is directly affected by climate change, recently besides the heavy effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the area has also been affected by typhoon Noru (in end of September 2022) making people’s life even more difficult. As well as, conditions for accessing medical services and medical examination and treatment have been limited.

The “Hanh trinh gieo yeu thuong” program in 2023 was organized by Ho Chi Minh City Young Physicians’ Association, Ho Chi Minh City Military People’s Medical Association, Phu Bai International Airport with the purpose of providing medical examination for people in Hong Thai commune, A Luoi district, Hue. At this program, medical examination activities include general examination, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory, otolaryngology, post-Covid-19 and obstetrics, etc. Thereby, people here had the opportunity to access advanced and specialized medical examination services in order to detect serious diseases early for timely treatment and intervention measures. Besides medical examination, people here also received a library of about 1000 books and more than 550 gifts from the organizers.

Moreover, cervical cancer screening and gynecological examination were paid attention by the organizers and were carried out for about 100 women. Accompanying the program, GHS Company sponsored all medical equipment of TruScreen to support free cervical cancer screening for women here.
