On August 6th, 2022, GHS Company sponsored 150 SUS to support free cervical cancer screening for mountainous women in Dakrong district, Quang Tri province.
The “Hanh trinh gieo yeu thuong” program in 2022 was organized by the grassroots trade union of Quang Tri Department of Health, HCM City Young Physician Association coordinated with the People’s Committee of A Bung Commune (Dakrong District, Quang Tri Province) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th). Moreover, the role and responsibility of the youth of the health sector in health care for the people is promoted, especially for the elderly, children and women in remote areas.
During this “journey”, nearly 400 people in A Bung commune received general examination, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory, post Covid-19 examination, obstetrics and rehabilitation. Thereby, these people had the opportunity to access advanced and specialized medical examination and treatment services in order to detect serious diseases early for timely treatment and intervention measures. After medical examination, people are consulted, given free medicine and gifts.
Specially at the last program, activities on cervical cancer screening, gynecological health counseling were also paid attention and carried out for about 100 women here. Accompanying the program, GHS Company sponsored 150 SUS (a tool of the rapid cervical screening device – TruScreen) to support free cervical screening for women here.

Currently, the TruScreen screening method is being officially applied at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and is in the process of being deployed at hospitals such as Tu Du Hospital, University Medical Center HCMC, and Hung Vuong Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to implementing TruScreen Opto – Electrical technology in Vietnamese hospitals, GHS Company has regularly participated in sponsoring charity activities for the community to help disadvantaged people receive the effective screening method TruScreen as well as improve Vietnamese people lives.
