Marking 3 years of official applying TruScreen Optical – Electrical technique in Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, TruScreen Vietnam cooperated with Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital to organize the “Free cervical cancer screening using Optical – Electrical technique (TruScreen)” program at 3 hospital branches from 16/05 to 19/05/2023.
The program was organized to improve people’s knowledge about strengthening screening for early detection of cervical cancer and prevention of cervical cancer. People participating in the program were screened by TruScreen – Optical – Electrical method – one of the advanced and modern methods applied in Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital.
After 3 years of officially applying the TruScreen Optical – Electric method, it can be seen that this is the favorite method of women when visiting for cervical cancer screening in the hospital. This method does not require sampling so that women do not feel pain or discomfort during the examination with TruScreen. Moreover, TruScreen provides quick results only 3 minutes after screening. The results are proven to be objective, accurate and highly reliable.
Technical training for doctors of Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital Branch 2 and Branch 3
During the free cervical cancer screening program in the hospitals, TruScreen Vietnam also organized TruScreen Optical – Electrical technical training for new doctors of Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital Branch 2 – Cam Hoi and Branch 3 – Ha Dong.
Firstly, TruScreen Vietnam Technician introduced the principle of the Optical – Electrical method and instructed how to use the TruScreen Ultra device to doctors.
After understanding how the device works, the hospital’s doctors were instructed by Dr. Tran Thi Trang – a certified TruScreen trainer to examine patients with TruScreen Ultra device and practice directly on patients participating in the program.
Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital is the leading hospital specializing in obstetrics and gynecology of Hanoi city and also the last-line hospital specializing in obstetrics and gynecology of the Ministry of Health. Since 2019, Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital has officially applied Optical – Electrical TruScreen to the hospital’s cervical cancer screening. In May 2023, TruScreen Vietnam continued to provide training for new doctors of the hospital, especially doctors of Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital in 2 new branches.
TruScreen Vietnam has received positive feedback from doctors of Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital Branch 2 – Cam Hoi and Branch 3 – Ha Dong about TruScreen Optical – Electric method: Mobile devices – Smart technology – Instant results.
