On 23/06/2022, TruScreen Viet Nam cooperated with Hung Vuong Hospital to organize the product introduction seminar “TruScreen Opto – Electrical Technique – A breakthrough solution in cervical cancer screening” in Hung Vuong Hospital, HCM City.
At the seminar, MSc Dr. Tran Dang Ngoc Linh – Head of Oncology Department of University Medical Center HCMC, Head of Radiation Department 2 – Oncology Hospital presented 3 parts of the report:
- Objectives and factors affecting the effectiveness of cervical cancer screening.
- Cervical cancer screening methods
- Introduction of Opto – Electrical technique for cervical cancer screening
In the introduction to the new technique, MSc Dr. Tran Dang Ngoc Linh not only explained the principle, but also provided the scientific value of the screening results of the Opto – Electrical technique. This is a new, non-invasive method with an accuracy of up to 80% to classify abnormal tissues, helping to recognize precancerous changes, or neoplasms in the cervical epithelium.
In addition, doctors at Hung Vuong Hospital had the opportunity to observe how to operate TruScreen device, guided by Vietnamese TruScreen technicians. The TruScreen device combines new Opto – electrical and AI technologies so it is easy to use, cost- effective and quick result export.
