On December 13, 2022, “The Ceremony of Receiving the Decision for deploying new technology in Tu Du Hospital and the Scientific Conference on applying of TruScreen Optical-Electrical technique in cervical cancer screening” will be held at Tu Du Hospital Hall.
The ceremony was held to mark the first successful step in transferring TruScreen Optical – Electrical technology to Tu Du Hospital – the leading unit in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Southern region. Through this event, TruScreen will be widely introduced to medical units and doctors specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the South region.
TruScreen Optical – Electrical technique is a new European standard cervical cancer screening method, used as a first-line screening tool to recognize abnormal signs in the cervix. After more than a year of implementing the Pilot program on application of TruScreen Optical-Electroelectric technology in cervical cancer screening according to Circular 07/2015-BYT. Up to now, Tu Du Hospital has been officially approved by the Ministry of Health to use TruScreen in medical examination and treatment at the hospital according to Decision No. 2691/QD-BYT dated October 3, 2022.
The event of officially applying TruScreen Optical – Electrical technique at Tu Du hospital shows that this new method is effective, reliable and promising in Southern hospitals during the next period.
