The Sharing session was organized in Windsor Plaza Hotel, (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) on 27/06/2020. The session shared new experiences with a new technique in cervical cancer screening to the leading obstetricians and gynecologists of Tu Du Hospital.
While participating in the event, the experts and leading doctors in Obstetrics and Gynecology of Tu Du Hospital discussed about the importance of screening, diagnosis as well as early detection of abnormal signs in the cervix.

At the beginning of the sharing session, Dr. Ho Hoa presented “The role of colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical cancer and pre-cancer”. Colposcopy methods are used to screen for abnormal lesions in the cervix to clearly identify the lesion area so that doctors can provide appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

In the next part of the event, TruScreen Vietnam introduced to Tu Du Hospital doctors the non-invasive cervical cancer screening method – TruScreen Optical – Electrical for the first time. Doctors and attendees also experienced and discussed the applicability of this new technique with superior features. Through this sharing session, TruScreen Vietnam understands the importance of cervical cancer screening spreading community values, especially for women. TruScreen was brought to the sharing session as a new method that is useful not only to the women’s community but also to the doctors and hospitals implementing this method.

Until now, TruScreen Vietnam has organized TruScreen Optical – Electrical technical training course for Tu Du Hospital doctors. From 03/2021, Tu Du Hospital has implemented a pilot program of “Application of TruScreen Optical – Electrical Technology in Cervical Cancer Detection” and is in the process of evaluating the program results as well as applying permission to officially apply the technique in the hospital.
