Training Program on TruScreen Optical – Electrical Techniques in Hau Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital

On October 23, 2020, TruScreen Vietnam and the leadership of Hau Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital organized a Training program on TruScreen Optical – Electrical techniques for doctors in the hospital.

In this program, doctors at Hau Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital had the opportunity to learn about Australia’s new cervical cancer screening technique – TruScreen. This is a completely new method that uses Optical and Electrical techniques to identify abnormalities in the cervix. Moreover, TruScreen also applies intelligent AI technology that outputs results quickly and accurately at the time of examination.

In addition to in-depth understanding of the principle of the new method, TruScreen Vietnam technician gave instructions on how to operate the TruScreen Ultra device. It can be seen that the use of the device is simple and easy to understand.

After the successful Training program on TruScreen Optical – Electrical techniques, Hau Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital had implemented a pilot program from October 2021 with 100 cases. The pilot results are currently under evaluation.

Hau Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital was established on the basis of merging Obstetrics and Pediatrics Department of Hau Giang General Hospital; Treatment system of Vi Thanh City Medical Center; Hau Giang Reproductive Health Care Center. The hospital was established to meet the increasing demand for medical examination, treatment and care of people in the area and neighboring areas.
