From 12 to 14/04/2023, TruScreen Viet Nam organized a combined program of Transfering new technology and Free cervical cancer screening by Optical – Electrical TruScreen in 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang City.
After working and receiving the approval from the Board of Directors of 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang City, from 12 to 14/04/2023, TruScreen Vietnam organized the TruScreen Optical – Electrical Technology Transfer Program for doctors of the hospital. The main goal of this program is to create opportunities for doctors here to learn new techniques, and support practical training in cervical cancer screening with the new screening method – TruScreen. Accordingly, TruScreen Vietnam organized the program with 2 main contents:
- Transfering new TruScreen Optical – Electric technology and training for 199 Hospital– Ministry of Public Security doctors
- Free cervical cancer screening program using TruScreen Optical – Electric technique for women visiting 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security
On 12/04/2023, TruScreen Vietnam trained and transfered TruScreen Optical – Electrical Technology to doctors and midwives of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security. On this part, doctors and midwives learned about the working principle as well as how to operate the TruScreen Ultra device.
After understanding how the device works, the hospital’s doctors and midwives were guided by Dr. Tran Thi Trang – a certified doctor trained by TruScreen (Australia) and practiced directly on patients.
Following the practice of the new technique, TruScreen Vietnam and 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security organized a Free cervical cancer screening program using TruScreen Optical – Electric technique for women visiting 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security on April 13 and 14, 2023.
During the 2 days of the program, doctors and midwives performed cervical cancer screening for 230 women with TruScreen Optical – Electrical technique. After screening, participating women had positive reviews about this new screening method. Specifically, Ms. N.T.M shared: This new screening method is painlessly and exports quick results. I hope that the hospital will apply this method to people in the future.
At the end of the program, TruScreen Vietnam successfully conducted technical training for 3 doctors and 4 midwives of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of 199 Hospital – Ministry of Public Security with 230 free screening cases. Doctors and midwives who participate and complete the training program will be certified by TruScreen (Australia).
