TruScreen Training Program in the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City

On July 31, 2020, TruScreen Vietnam organized a practical training program on TruScreen Optical – Electrical technology in University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City.

The program was held at the hospital to train new techniques in cervical cancer screening – TruScreen Optical – Electrical to the unit. The program attracted many doctors specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology of the hospital.

During the introduction, MSc.Dr. Tran Nhat Huy shared a lot of useful information about the great functions and uses of TruScreen technology to the doctors of the University Medical Center HCMC. TruScreen uses Optical – Electrical technique to detect abnormal tissues in the cervix. The wavelengths of light not only examine the cervical surface epithelium, but also penetrate deep into the basal layers and stroma for examination. Changes in the cell nucleus due to cancer will directly affect the transmitted light signal.

Not only that, the doctors of the University Medical Center HCMC observed how to useTruScreen device, guided by technicians of TruScreen Vietnam. Having simple operation, the TruScreen Ultra device uses intelligent AI technology to help doctors quickly detect abnormalities in the cervix. Furthermore, the device operates independently and no need of standard laboratory facilities. Therefore, this new technology helps the hospital save on infrastructure investment and training costs.
