Tu Du Hospital officially applies the TruScreen Optical-Electrical technology in cervical cancer screening

Tu Du Hospital – Ho Chi Minh City is officially allowed to apply the Truscreen Optical-Electrical technology in cervical cancer screening from October 2022.

Previously, in June 2021, Tu Du Hospital had piloted with a total of 147 cervical cancer screening cases using TruScreen Optical-Electrical technology and recorded the following results: 

In the pilot report, TruScreen has a positive predictive value of 73.3%, which indicates that it is equally effective and has a positive sign when compared to Co-testing (cytology + HPV).

Additionally, the report discusses patient evaluations with regards to their satisfaction and comfort level during the examination with TruScreen Optical-Electrical technology. TruScreen’s affordable and quick results make it the preferred cervical cancer screening method for women.
