On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day, Gorton Company accompanied with units of Ward 2, Tan Binh District, HCMC to organize a cervical cancer screening program using TruScreen Optical – Electrical technique – “For women’s health” on October 15th and 16th, 2022.
The program aims at helping Vietnamese women to better understand the value of their own health, improve health protection, and introduce a new method of cervical cancer screening – TruScreen.
Following the experience with Optical – Electrical TruScreen, the participating women gave positive feedback. “I feel comfortable, painless, and receive quick results, I don’t need to go back to get the results” – Ms. D.T.V (Bach Dang, Ward 2, Tan Binh) shared.
Ms. P.N.S (Le Van Sy, Ward 1, Tan Binh) said that she felt comfortable when she was screened with the TruScreen method. She added that: “I like this method because I don’t have to wait as long for results as previous methods. Having quick results makes me feel more secure about my health”.
Some maternity hospitals in Vietnam have applied TruScreen as a new method with many advantages, including no pain, discomfort, and fast results in just 3 minutes. This is also the first method to apply smart AI technology in Vietnam. With TruScreen, women have no worry and uncomfortable feeling when participating in the screening for cervical cancer.
The Gorton Company would like to express its gratitude to the organizing units of Ward 2, Tan Binh District – the Health Station, the People’s Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Women’s Union, the Vietnam Veterans’ Association, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Elderly Association, the Study Promotion Association, the Red Cross Society, as well as to the doctor group of obstetrics and gynecology in Ho Chi Minh City who contributed to the program’s success. We hope that our small activity has spread good values to Vietnamese women in particular and the community in general.

The Cervical Cancer Screening Program “For Women’s Health” using TruScreen Optical-Electrical Technology
The free cervical cancer screening program is organized to honor Vietnamese Women’s Day with the goal of protecting women’s health and improving their sense of self-care. Last September and October 2022, Gorton Company launched the Program “For Women’s Health” in Go Cong town, Tien Giang province, and Ward 2, Tan Binh district, HCMC. A series of free cervical cancer screening programs will continue to be offered by Gorton Company in Tien Giang, Dong Nai, and Dak Nong provinces in November and December 2022.
