On 16/11/2018, TruScreen Vietnam organized TruScreen Optical – Electrical Technique Training Program for doctors in Hong Duc Hospital.
At this program, doctors of Hong Duc Hospital had the opportunity to learn about Australia’s cervical cancer screening technique – TruScreen. This is an new method that uses Optical and Electrical techniques to identify abnormalities in the cervix. Moreover, TruScreen also uses intelligent AI technology to get results quickly and accurately only in one visit.
Carolina Velasquez – a doctor representing TruScreen (Australia) said another advantage of the Optical -Electrical screening method, female do not need to take a sample, or not feel pain when examining TruScreen because the device only uses a handheld device tip with extremely low electrical pulses (0.8 volts / 350ms) for rapid screening.
In addition, Dr. Velasquez instructed doctors on the operation of the TruScreen Ultra device. With simple use, the device does not depend on standard laboratory facilities. Therefore, this new technology helps hospitals save on infrastructure investment costs.
Hong Duc Hospital was established in 2000 with modern medical techniques and technologies to meet the requirements of diagnosis and treatment under new methods towards the goal of public health reform to improve health services. Currently, Hong Duc Hospital has completed TruScreen Optical – Electrical technology transfer.
